Interchange is Named Best Arts Organization in St. Louis
Riverfront Times's 2009 Best of St. Louis has awarded "best arts organization" to Interchange, an arts education collaborative between St. Louis Public Schools and area arts and cultural organizations, and pointed specifically to a collaboration that paired Jefferson Elementary School with Metro Theater Company for a residency focusing on the Civil Rights Movement.

The Center for Arts Education's latest report analyzes the relationship between graduation rates and indicators of arts education. The study focuses on 200 public high schools in the New York City area. Findings reveal that schools with more access to arts education have the highest graduation rates.
