Researchers, educators, advocates and policymakers are putting their heads together for the 10th Annual Learning & The Brain Conference. The conference will explore the widespread interest in how the arts enhance learning outcomes and contribute to cognitive and social development in children.

Family Fun Day Meets the Arts on May 16
New York and tri-staters have a new art destination to visit. Park Avenue Armory is a newly launched organization whose mission is to revitalize one of America's historic treasures as a dynamic alternative arts space unlike any other in New York. Second Annual National Arts in the Schools Day Celebrated
The Port Chester Council on the Arts presented the second annual National Arts in the Schools Day on April 15. Schools in New York, Maine and New Hampshire participated by holding assemblies and incorporating arts activities into lesson plans in elementary, middle and high school class activities. In an opening ceremony, arts learning champions shared their opinions with arts learning.
