  • On December 9, 2008 DC Arts and Humanities Collaborative stood with Americans for the Arts and Arts Education Partnership at a public hearing on 21st Century Learning. You can read their testimonies here.
  • The Arts For Every Student Program brings artists into classrooms. It also works with cultural institutions to provide free tickets to events.
  • The DC Office of the State Superintendent of Education asked The DC Arts & Humanities Education Collaborative to come up with Arts Education Learning Standards for the state. They were approved May 21, 2008 and serve as a model for arts learning standards nationwide.
  • The brochure for the DC Arts & Humanities Education Collaborative makes the case, describes its programs, and shows everyone – advocates, educators, funders, parents, teaching artists – how they can get involved to provide arts education to all DCPS students.
  • A program evaluation of the DC Arts and Humanities Collaborative Pilot School Program.
  • A Call to Action for arts in public education in the District of Columbia is a report aimed at educating and empowering the arts advocate.
  • Thirty-five (35) member organizations of the DC Arts and Humanities Education Collaborative, Inc. responded to a survey on their various types of partnerships with the District of Columbia Public School System.
