Interchange is an arts education collaborative between the St. Louis Public Schools and some 30 St. Louis area arts and cultural organizations.

Through Interchange, area arts and cultural organizations are supporting the work of St. Louis Public Schools teachers to engage students and improve outcomes. Teacher professional development is the primary program component of Interchange. Professional development includes teaching artist teams in each school, classroom coaches and a summer institute.

Interchange is also focused on advocacy by building awareness of arts integration and its ability to improve student outcomes. Interchange is a member of the Missouri Alliance for Arts Education, collaborating with other school districts and arts organizations to raise awareness of and support for arts education in public schools.
