Make March Count
Learning in and through the arts is a hot topic this March with communities voicing their support to keep arts in their schools. This year, Make March Count!
See what others are doing across the nation
- Alameda will be presenting a conference on arts integration showcasing 38 Arts Learning Anchor Schools. They will also hold workshops and have created poster templates for arts organizations' use to promote events happening in March.
- Cleveland arts advocates are traveling to Washington D.C. and are planning the release/distribution of a new brochure, letters to the editor and an op ed.
- Dallas's Big Thought will have an exhibit entitled Make a Connection Thru Art at the Irving Art Center this March.
- Minneapolis's Viva City Arts Festival will feature grades 6-12 Dance and Choir at Orchestra Hall, and grades 6-12 Art Exhibition at the beautiful new Central Library. The Mayor, Superintendent, and other community members are a vital part of this celebration of student work.
- St. Louis's Interchange will travel with fellow advocates to the state capitol to make the case for arts education.
